Biographies:

Dimitri Reyes is a Puerto-Vegan educator, writer, artist, and community organizer from Newark, New Jersey. He is the recipient of the SLICE Magazine’s 2017 Bridging the Gap Award for Emerging Poets and a finalist for the Arcturus Poetry Prize by the Chicago Review of Books. Dimitri is a candidate in the Rutgers- Newark MFA program and his poetry is published or forthcoming in Entropy, Hawai’i Review, Acentos Review, Anomaly,  Kweli, and others. Sylvana Joyce and The Moment is an award-winning alternative rock band based in Jersey City; their special brand of Balkan folk and theatrically infused rock has garnered major press from the likes of Huffington Post, NJ.com and MTV, and Sylvana Joyce herself has earned her stripes being a regular contributor to several music collectives in North Jersey, Including ALEO Productions, The Latest Noise, Spaghetti Sessions, and Rock It Docket.

Heavyhead, Joyce’s sophomore LP, already has a warm reception from rock journal The Aquarian Weekly, calling the record “on the podium of greatness” and that Joyce “has struck original gold”.

 

Mike DeCapite’s published work includes the novel Through the Windshield, the chapbooks Sitting Pretty and Creamsicle Blue, and the short-prose collection Radiant Fog. He lives in New York, where he’s working on the final draft of a short novel.
